Terms of use
Last updated 10 August 2026
By using Lazy Resume you agree to these terms. The product is for individual job seekers — not multi-seat organizations or enterprise HR workflows.
The service
Lazy Resume lets you import a resume, edit it, tailor it toward a job description, draft a cover letter, export PDF, save a personal library, and create private share links. Features may change as we improve the product.
Your content
You keep ownership of your resume content. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit to employers. AI suggestions can be wrong — review every change before you export or share.
Acceptable use
- No illegal content, malware, or abuse of the API / rate limits.
- No attempts to scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
- No using the product to fabricate professional credentials you do not have (we also design AI prompts to avoid inventing employers/degrees).
Accounts & plans
Every feature is currently free. We may still rate-limit abuse. If paid plans return, they will be billed via Stripe. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Availability
We aim for production-grade reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Private share links depend on the link remaining unexpired and unrevoked. Export may fall back to browser print when headless PDF is unavailable.
Liability
The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for hiring outcomes, AI inaccuracies, or indirect damages. Your statutory consumer rights (if any) still apply.
